Competition Terms and Conditions
The Promoter is set out at the end of these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK and Republic of
Ireland, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required.
Entry Period
2. This Promotion is open during the following windows (the “Promotional Period”).:
a. 4 th November – from 08:00-17:00
b. 5 th November – from 08:00-17:00
c. 6 th November – from 08:00-17:00
d. 7 th November – from 08:00-17:00
e. 8 th November – from 08:00-17:00
f. 11 th November – from 08:00-17:00
g. 12 th November – from 08:00-17:00
3. Entries must be received between 08:00 on Monday 4th November 2024 and 17:00 on Tuesday 12th November 2024 (the “Closing Date”) or until all prizes are won, whichever occurs first. Entries received after the Closing Date, or outside of the promotion periods listed above will not be accepted.
Entry Requirements
4. No purchase necessary. There is no charge to submit an entry via the website at crackthecode.sky.com
5. To enter, simply visit the prize vault activation in Sky Central and scan the provided QR code or go to crackthecode.sky.com. Here you will need to follow the competition instructions at the top of the page and submit your details and other required information using the online form provided. The website will generate a 4-digit numerical code, at which point you will need to press the ‘crack the code’ button to see if you are a winner. Entrant details required are as follows: Full Name, Contact Number and Email Address.
6. There is a limit of one entry per person per day.
7. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in transit, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
8. Those entries not in accordance with the rules will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the competition; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the competition.
The Prize
9. There are 13 prize packages available to be won throughout the promotional period, detailed in clause 2. These will be split in to 13 unique “winning moments”.
10. The winners will receive 1 from the following, dependent on which “winning moment” they are successful during. Please refer to table below.

11. Prizes are subject to availability. They are non-transferable, non-refundable and, unless stated, there are no cash alternatives. In the event that the prize is out of stock or if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value. Prizes do not include any other service or item not specifically described above.
Winner Selection and notification
12. Each winning moment has been randomly allocated by a secure, independently verified computer programme. Entrants who play ‘crack the code’ game on or first after the winning moment will win a prize.
13. Prize winners will be notified immediately on the online microsite whether they have won a prize and they will need to show this page to the brand ambassador, who will provide a key to access the prize vault. Winners will be notified via the certificate in the locker which prize they have won and how to claim. Prize collection details are included in the below table:

14. Winners of prizes 1, 2, 9 and 13 will need to reply to the prize
provider’s confirmation email to confirm acceptance of the prize. In the
event winners fail to claim the prize within a reasonable period or if any
prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner
and no prize will be given.
15. The winners will be required to share their name with the brand
ambassador on-site upon collection of the prize certificate.
16. Recipients of prizes 1, 2, 9 and 13 must provide their full name,
email address, telephone number and delivery address to the prize provider
in order to receive their prize. Winners must reside within the UK. The
prize provider has up to 28-days to post the prize to the winners from the
point of receiving the necessary information.
17. Winner of prize 13 will need to reply to the prize provider’s email
to confirm their desired shoe size (Limited Edition Nike Air Max is
available in sizes UK 4-9) within 2 days of receiving contact.
Data Protection
18. Any entrant data collected will be used for the purpose of
administering the promotion and contacting the winners to notify them of the
prize and, if you are the winner, we may pass them on to third parties to
deliver the prize.
19. If you are the winner, you will be asked if you are happy to give
consent to allow Sky to potentially use your full name and county for
post-event publicity purposes without paying you anything.
20. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. Click here for the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.Data will be stored for three months after the close of the Promotion before deletion. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by contacting us through the “Contact us” link on the Sky website. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.
General
21. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for network,
computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or
delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Proof of sending is not proof of
receipt.
22. There is no cash alternative to the prize and unless agreed otherwise
in writing the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
23. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize
of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons
beyond its control.
24. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its
negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the
Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and
all liabilities arising from the enjoyment of the prize; and/or any
postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize beyond the
Promoter’s control; and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
25. The terms and conditions of any other third-party supplier associated
with the Promotion will also apply to the prize where applicable (for
example, the provider of an event or experience). If there is a conflict
between third party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions,
these shall take precedence.
26. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the
winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
27. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all
entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not
comply in full with these entry terms and conditions will be
disqualified.
28. The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning
entries) if there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach
of these terms and conditions or if the entrant concerned or anyone
authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards
the Promoter, other entrants or Sky staff which the Promoter reasonably
considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry
is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to
another entrant.
29. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions
and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Promotion.
30. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this promotion.
